Devara is all set to hit the screens on September 27, 2024, and the buzz surrounding the film is huge. Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor make their Telugu debut with this film, which has been directed by Koratala Siva on a massive budget of Rs 300 crore.

Jr NTR on Devara and his role in the action drama

The promotions of the film are in full swing and Jr NTR spoke to young heroes Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Vishwak Sen about the film and his role. Not many know that Jr NTR will be seen as a father and son in the film and speaking about his role, Jr NTR says that it was very difficult to get into the character of the father.

"I had no issues playing the younger self but I found it very hard to get into the skin of the father's role. Even after shooting for two days, I could not get the meter to which I needed to react. But Koratala Siva told me to think of my kids and emote the scene. That is the day, I got the hold of the character and things fell in place automatically," says Jr NTR.

The film will be released in two parts and the shooting of the second part will kick start once Jr NTR wraps up War 2 with Hrithik Roshan as the main lead. Devara is produced by NTR Arts and Yuvasudha Arts on a massive scale. The pre-release business has been locked for a massive Rs 130 crore in just Telugu states.

When it comes to the US collections, Devara is on fire as it is nearing the 2 million dollar mark already and this is a new record in itself for any Indian film to date and this shows what kind of hype this film has created. Srikanth and Prakash Raj play key roles in the film which is a period drama set in the 80s. Watch this space for more updates.
